When you log in to your account we give you the option to stay logged in for a certain period of time. If you request to suspend the processing of some or all of your personal information or withdraw (if applicable) your consent to the use or disclosure of your personal information for the purposes set out in this privacy agreement, we may no longer be able to provide you with access to the services and to the assistance service offered to our customers.

Upon your request, we will close your account and remove your personal information as soon as possible based on your account activity and in accordance with national laws.

How we may share your personal information

We may disclose your personal information to third parties. This disclosure may be necessary for us to provide you with access to our services, to comply with national legal obligations, to optimize our marketing and advertising activities, or to prevent, detect, mitigate and investigate fraudulent or illegal activities related to the services our. We try to minimize the amount of personal information we disclose to what is directly relevant and necessary to fulfill the specified purpose.

To facilitate the processing of payment cards when you pay for services provided by us, we use the LibraPay card payment processor. Payments are made directly on the processor’s page. SC ORTODOXPRESS S.R.L. provides the transaction data but does not retain the card data, the payment being made exclusively through the processor.

SC FAN Courier Express S.R.L., SC Cargus S.R.L., SC Sameday Courier S.R.L. and C.N. Romanian Post S.A.

With the transport service providers, Fan Courier, Cargus, Sameday and Romanian Post, we share contact information for the preparation of transport documents, in order to facilitate the delivery of purchased products and other communications strictly related to delivery. When you purchase a product, the company that will send the package will receive your information necessary to deliver the package, such as: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address. Those who receive your information should only use it for purposes related to the transaction. Unless you have consented to receive further communications from them, they should not contact you for commercial purposes.

Mailgun Technologies, Inc. 

Email message service providers. For good efficiency, some of the e-mail messages are sent through specialized services (MailJet), the messages are sent only at the operator’s request based on the instructions, the reports are kept in the operator’s personal account.

Law enforcement institutions according to national laws

• To official law enforcement agencies in response to an official request or legal process in connection with a criminal investigation or alleged or suspected illegal activity. We will disclose information that we believe is relevant to the investigation or that is explicitly requested of us, such as name, address, phone number, email address, user history, IP address, fraud claims, purchase history.
• For third parties involved in a legal proceeding, if they provide us with a court decision.

Change of ownership rights

If we are subject to a merger or acquisition with/by another company, we may share information in accordance with our privacy standards. As part of our ongoing commitment to data security, S.C. ORTODOXPRESS SRL will:

• clean, delete or destroy data in electronic or paper format after it is no longer needed;

• grant access rights depending on job responsibilities;
• ensure that third party service providers have appropriate personal data security and confidentiality agreements;
• use security solutions for computer systems to protect them against malware or virus attacks;
• keep backup copies of critical information systems to avoid data loss;
• regularly apply security patches to protect the system against vulnerabilities;
• respond to security incidents in a consistent and timely manner;
• monitor network traffic for malicious or suspicious activity to quickly identify and respond to threats.
